History

Tokyu Construction Co., Ltd. started its humble business in 1959 with just over 130 employees. Today, it has grown into a major corporation with a work force in excess of 2,438 employees with construction business both in Japan and overseas.

Tokyu Construction Co., Ltd. is one of the 296 business entities of the Tokyu Group of Companies. Tokyu Construction is the construction arm of the Tokyu Group of Companies which operates in 6 divisions, namely, Transportation, Real Estate, Trading, Leisure and Services, Construction, and Others (Automobile, Telecommunications Marketing, Research Activities, etc.). For the fiscal year ending March 2007, the consolidated revenue for Tokyu Group is 2,500 billion yen (US$22.7 billion).

As a member of the Tokyu Group,we have over the year’s accumulated extensive knowledge not only in construction technologies but also in a wide range of other fields including transport, development, distribution, leisure services, culture and education as well as overseas enterprise. As part of the overseas venture, Tokyu Construction Co., Ltd was set up in 1978 in Guam(USA) tap into the rapid growing region to the Pacific Rim and South East Asia.

II (JBIC Loan), condominiums, high-tech industrial buildings, radar, communication and computer facilities, retrofitting and refurbishment of commercial
complexes and service apartments, conversion and renovation of variety of building types and sports facilities.
We have accumulated vast resources and experience in construction and projectmanagement. Together with the support of more than
1,700 engineers and researchers in our Japan headquarters, we are committed in the years to come to further improve our
technological basewhile boldly forging newfrontiers in as yet undeveloped endeavors in the field of construction.
